It was designed by a French architect Roger Taillibert for the Olympic Games held in Montreal , Canada in year 1976. The construction was started in August, 1973 and it was officially opened on April, 1976. Construction of Biodome was started in year 1989 and completed in the year 1992 and was opened for the public on 18th June, 1992. It is the Canadian largest natural science Museum complex. Nearly around 4,50o animals of 250 different species and more than 1500 plants of 500 different species have been fed every day inside the zoo. The point of attraction of the zoo is Bouton, the scarlet Macaw (an american parrot species) which only speaks in English with peoples.

It covers a large space and has many things to see. You can spend a quality time with your family and friends. You may find the entry fee high, so to overcome this problem you can go for a holiday package which may cost you a little less and they will also show you the botanical garden along with zoo.
