Christ the Redeemer, Brazil
Christ the Redeemer, is among the  list of new seven wonders of World listed in year 2007. It is the statue of Jesus Christ with his arms outstretched which is a symbol of Peace. It is located in Rio de Janeiro perched over the Corcovado Mountain. It is been said that in the mid 1850's, a priest laid an eye over the Corcovado Mountain and thought of making a statue of Jesus Christ over the mountain but unfortunately, the Princess Isabel drop off the idea as she was highly dissatisfied.

But in 1921, the proposal to make that statue raised and finally in 1925, it started to begun. In 1931, the construction was done. It is around 100 ft. tall vertically and around 92 ft. horizontallty. It is the center of attraction for tourists from decades in Brazil. Thousands of tourists visit there per day.
You can see the view of whole city and of ocean from top. The view is beyond words and imagination. So if you are planning to visit Brazil then go for it because it would not disappoint you. I'm really fond of Brazil culture and the way they live their life. Brazil is all known for its night life, parties.
