Qutub Minar is the second tallest minar in India around 75 mts tall after Chappar Chiri located in Mohali which is more than 95 mts tall. It is a 5-storey building around 75 mts tall having around 380 steps. It was created by Qutub-ud-din but it has created only one storey and after that he died, the remaining four storey has been created by his Son-in-law.

The constructed was started in 1192 and it took around 75 years to complete it. It was allowed to go inside the Minar but after an accident happened in year 1981 where around 50 peoples died, Government of India restricted the entry of peoples inside it. There is a myth about Qutub Minar which our teacher used to say when we were kid is that there were seven storey before but after an aeroplane crash the upper 2 storey's destroyed and only five left.
